How much is it to hire Larches Paw Paddock?

Is there a maximum limit on the number of people that can attend a session?

A Maximum of 3 households/6 dogs/3 cars for The Paddock. This can be negotiable for larger parties so please get in touch. The Meadow is strictly allowed a maximum of 3 dogs. 

How do I make payment?

Online via the booking system

Do I have to share The Paddock and The Meadow with other owners and their dogs?

No – the bookings are exclusive to yourself; you have sole use for the 50 minute appointment/session.

How far in advance can I book a session?

We accept bookings up to 12 months in advance.

How long is the booked session?

50 minutes

Are XL Bully Breed allowed to use the secure fields?

Unfortunately we are not currently covered for XL Bully Breed to use our secure fields.

Do I have to show my dog’s vaccination card?

It is our utmost priority that we look after the health and wellbeing of your dog(s). By ensuring all visiting dogs are vaccinated it lowers the risk of transferable disease spreading. We will spot check dog vaccination cards and you may be asked at anytime to show the vaccination card. If you do not have it with you, we allow 48 from request to provide a copy. 

What are Larches Paw Paddock opening hours?

We are open daylight hours all year round. There are no floodlights.

What if it is stormy/snowing on the day of my booking. Can I reschedule?

If your dog doesn’t enjoy being out in the rain/snow then we would suggest that you check the weather forecast the day before your visit. You will avoid being charged for your booking if you re-schedule with more than 24 hours before your appointment time. We will always contact you prior to your visit if we have to cancel your appointment. It is always wise to check your emails before you leave home if we have had bad weather.

What do I do if I have a problem?

In a emergency, our contact number is located on the main entrance gate to the paddock and the meadow. If you have any issues please Contact Us

How do I dispose of my dog’s waste?

Please ensure you bring a supply of poo bags with you, a bin will be provided on the paddock and meadow entrance. There is CCTV surveillance in the field so please adhere to this rule.

Is there a water supply in the Paddock?

There is a mains water supply available for you to use. We also have water dog bowls on offer and will be refreshed frequently.

Is there any shelter in the Paddock?

There is a shelter that will provide sun and rain protection.

Are there any farm animals or other distractions nearby?

Yes, there are cattle regularly grazing in neighbouring fields, if your dog has a strong prey drive and can jump higher than 1.8 metres then the field may not be secure for you. You are responsible for any damage your dog may cause if it escapes.

How big is Larches Paw Paddock?

Both the Paddock and the Meadow are 2 acres.

Where can I park at the paddock?

We have a secure car parking area within the paddock/meadow for up to 3 cars. Once you have locked the gate, you can safely let your dog out of the car.

Can I bring my children with me?

Yes.  Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children are the responsibility of their parents/carers; our contents and equipment have not been safety checked for children, therefore Larches Paw Paddock are not liable for any accident. 

Are professional dog walkers allowed to book?

Yes we welcome professional dog walkers.

Can I leave my dog alone in the Paddock?

No, under no circumstances can dogs be left unsupervised in the Paddock. You must always stay with your dog.

What happens if the previous dog owners overrun on their time slot?

If the previous dog owner overruns their time slot, please adhere to your exit time and report to us afterwards. 

My dog has recently had diarrhoea/vomiting, Can I still attend my session?

No. You will need to allow a minimum of 48 hours after the point where your dog’s stools are solid again before we reschedule your appointment. You can reschedule your appointment with 24 hours notice, if it is less than this then please contact Larches Paw Paddock so we can reschedule on your behalf. 

Are there any toys or balls in the paddock?

No. We do not provide any balls or toys but you are more than welcome to bring your own. We ask that the Paddock is kept clean and tidy and any debris is removed.

Does Larches Paw Paddock accept all breeds of dog?

Yes, we welcome all breeds.

How many dogs are allowed in the field at any one time?

You may bring up to 6 dogs with you per booking. However we can accommodate more dogs so please get in touch for enquiries.

Does Larches Paw Paddock have a toilet?

Yes a compostable toilet is available for you to use.

Can I smoke/vape in the Paddock?

No, we operate a strict no smoking, no vaping policy.

Is there a First Aid kit available?

Yes, a first aid kit can be found in the shelter inside the enclosed paddock/meadow.
